True per-sample synthesis with the real 32-algorithm routing table.
Algorithm and feedback
Pitch envelope (shared across all 6 operators)
DX7 behavior: Level 4 sets both the pitch at key-on and the destination after key-off. Rate 4 controls only the release transition.
LFO (shared across all 6 operators)
Pitch-side modulation (PMD/P Mod Sens) and the mod wheel itself aren't wired up yet — amplitude modulation (AMD, per-operator A Mod Sens, waveform, delay, key sync) is fully implemented.
MIDI connections
Patch import and export
Polyphony and performance
Lowering the voice count reduces audio processing load and can help prevent crackling or glitches on slower or power-limited devices. The original DX7 uses 16 voices.
Hold a key or connect a MIDI controller to play. Six-operator FM synthesis with all 32 DX7 algorithms, sysex import/export, and cartridge export.
